Hon. Pius Uwaleme, a successful business man, Philanthropist, political strategist of high repute and the immediate past Sole Administrator of Obowo LGA of Imo State was recently Honoured as the Most Distinguished Sole Administrator of the Shared Prosperity government of Gov. Hope Uzodimma by AFRICAN FREE PRESS for his Outstanding Services to the Social, Economic and Political Development of Obowo LGA, lmo State and Nigeria; Credible Leadership in his fields of Endeavour, Empowerment and Philanthropy, Service to Humanity and as a Transformation Icon.
The deserved Honours was received on his behalf by Hon. Kelechi who is also a great son of Obowo LGA that has impacted positively in the overall development of Obowo and environs.
During his tenure as Sole Administrator of Obowo LGA, Hon. Pius Uwaleme executed several projects, including renovation of Obowo Council Hall, rehabilitation of Obowo Council Chairman’s Office, reconnection of Electricity abandoned for more than 20 years, rehabilitation of Water Borehole abandoned for more than 25 years and providing the enabling environment for security and economic activities to trive.
