The State President, Hon.Sir Chukwuemeka F. Opara GCOB JP MNSE,a one time Owerri- West Local Government Chairmanship candidate was a special guest at the Conclusion of all BB Week activities of 2024 in Orlu Zone and he was honored as *EZIENYI* st John by the Fathers .
The service of Revival Thanksgiving was held at St. Johns Anglican Church (Umuchineke) Umuagwo, on Sunday 21 July2024.
The event which featured the Boys brigade Investiture,had two new Anchor Patrons invested, and Pronouncement of a Golden Mother (24) Award and several other sprit lifting activities carried out.
It had in attendance; Mr. Francis Anyanwu, ANTO (Ag. State Secretary/Organizer), Pst. Chimazu J. Uwakwe NTO (ASSO), Lady Dr. Chika F. Ahamefula BSO (State Treasurer), Mr. Accordking Aondover BSO (State Central PRO), Rev. Ernest Nzewuihe (State PRO (Orlu Zone), Mr. Chukwuebuka Ugonna (State Auditor II). Mr Chigozie Ejimkeonye BSO( Owerri Diocese Anglican Brigade coordinator) and the Oguta/ Egbema Battalion Vice Chairman 2 anchored the Protocols. The First Lady BBN IMSC,Engr(Lady) Oge Opara JP. Cheered the event in absence.
Moreover,Sir. Barrister Austine Otuekere,a Retired Permanent Secretary IMS CSC and a PH based Engr. Henry Nwaihiri ,a one time *SA* to Imo state Governor (represented by Barr. Nwaihiri) were confirmed State Anchor Patrons.
The Golden Mama was escorted to her residence home by the full brigade band together with members in attendance.
Boys Brigade,Sure and steadfast, would be at Okwelle , okigwe zone,on like outing on Sunday.
